Paguro began with a straightforward thought: why should designing a house feel harder than imagining one?
I wanted to experiment with my own house plans—shift a wall, open up a room, try another layout. The software I tried often made those simple changes feel more complicated than they needed to be.
So I started building an alternative. Not another intimidating CAD tool, but a space where anyone could start with an idea and keep shaping it.
Paguro is built independently by Cbass. It's still a work in progress, and that's why early feedback matters so much.
A paguro is a hermit crab: a little creature that finds a shell that fits, then looks for a new one as it grows.
That's the spirit of the product. Your needs change. Your ideas change. Your home should be something you can shape around your life.
Not everything has to be perfect on the first try. Make room for another idea. Make room for Sunday.
A focused, approachable floor planner. Draw walls, adjust layouts, and understand your space without being a professional.
Simple interactions backed by geometry and measurements you can actually work with.
Visualization is a future premium direction. We want the 2D experience to be excellent before expanding it.
Paguro is not available for public use yet. We're getting the fundamentals right first.
